SNOW BATH GUIDELINES
(PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD)
FOR SECURITY REASONS, HERE ARE SOME GUIDELINES AND PRECAUTIONS TO FOLLOW FOR THE
SNOW BATH.
PREPARATION
- Eat a good breakfast;
- Do not drink alcohol.
WHAT TO BRING (it is important to remain dry between each shift):
- bathing suit (no monokinis or shorts);
- one or more pairs of gloves;
- one pair of espadrilles (with one or more pairs of socks mandatory), it is important
to remain dry between each shift;
- one or more bath towels.
BEFORE THE FIRST SNOW BATH
- Warm-up for approx. 15 to 30 minutes.
FIRST SNOW BATH:
- 2 to 4 minutes (depending on temperature) per group;
- After the first shift, be sure to conduct another brief warm-up in order to maintain
body temperature.
SECOND SNOW BATH:
- 4 to 8 minutes (depending on temperature) per group, and take note that the last
group must remain until the end of the snow bath.
- After the second shift, be sure to conduct another brief warm-up in order to maintain
body temperature.
SNOW BATH RULES
- 15 to 20 minutes (depending on temperature) for all participants.
SNOW BATH RULES
In order to ensure your safety (avoid injuries, falls, etc.) we ask that you respect
the following rules or risk being denied access to the snow bath:
- It is forbidden to drink alcoholic beverages before or during the event;
- Il est strictement défendu de bousculer ou de porter les gens « à bout de bras »
(participants, mascottes ou autres);
- Participants must respect the timetables as indicated by each group leader.
