FOOD TOUR IN LITTLE BURGUNDY / ST-HENRI, MONTREAL’S CRADLE FOR CULINARY INNOVATION (New)
This afternoon tour will take you into two distinct neighborhoods that are both experiencing an exciting buzz: Little Burgundy and St-Henri. Although they face one another, the east side is receiving praise for its upscale culinary institutions, whereas the west side is being recognized for its audacity. Starting through the East side, Little Burgundy, we’ll explore some of the trendy restaurants and boutiques.
Further on, crossing Atwater, we’ll welcome you to St-Henri. Visually, you’ll notice St-Henri’s outline of raw concrete, graffiti, boarded windows and the eclectic mix of habitants. Walking down the street, you’ll notice hints of what this district has been and what it’s becoming. Right now, the neighborhood is the ideal spot for young entrepreneurs looking for a curious audience. We can certainly consider this area to be Montreal’s cradle for culinary innovation.
