Building on the strength of last year’s mega-success, our
gourmet pitstops are back!
Once again, they’ll be ready to delight the most exacting gourmands, with an impressive
variety of tastes for every budget… while also offering gourmet nods to our
great featured city, Buenos Aires, and our American featured city, Philadelphia!
Ladies and gentlemen, start your appetities! Head to Parilla by L’Atelier d’Argentine and its BBQ serving up empanadas, Petit Balmo
for its Philly cheesesteak sandwiches and huge homemade pretzels, the Maison du chocolat and delectable
products from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, kiosks offering
Belgian waffles and frites…
Over in the Provigo Sphere, local
producers invite you to discover sweet regional treats, while the
Bistro SAQ and its new trio of geodesic domes serves up
cheeses, soups, duck confit, beef bourguignon, a selection of Argentinean wines
and beers—not to mention a special evening offering pairings of wine, duck
and foie gras!
Finally, quench your thirst just about everywhere: in the
RBC Dome (after 9 p.m.), the Balmoral, at various SAQ sales
points, the Lait dairy bar, bar
Rickard’s, the Porto Cabral kiosk,
bar Amarula, or Café Jura.
We may even add a few additional bars just for the Nuit blanche! As ever, all our
strolling gourmands will find excellent sausages cooked up especially for MEL and
marshmallows to grill over braziers, as well as churros accompanied by delectable
dulce de leche!
