Calling all nighthawks and nocturnal friends—Saturday, February 25, 2012 is the date set for the wildest night of the year! Strap yourselves in as the frenzy takes over three quartiers and one pôle: the Quartier des Spectacles et Centre-Ville (Downtown), the Quartier Vieux-Montréal (Old Montréal), Quartier Plateau-Mont-
Royal and Mile-End and, finally, the Pôle Parc olympique.
At the dawn of its 10th anniversary, Nuit blanche invites you all to discover the nighttime lairs of Montreal. Artists, collectives and citizens have taken a good look at their city, and invite you to re-discover it. It’s an artistic circuit showcasing storytelling, visual arts, exhibitions, film, theatre, dance, flights of fancy, comedy and many other surprises, extending an open invitationto discovery, sharing and unique encounters. Right in the midst of a winter’s night, Montreal reveals its hidden side in an all-nighter sure to thrill young and old alike.
And because the Nuit blanche is committed to being both safe and mobile, a free shuttle service has once again been established so that our nighthawks can cruise from activity to activity with ease. Also, the Métro will remain open all night long. Extraordinary, unusual, eclectic, intoxicating… the Nuit blanche à Montréal will never cease to amaze and surprise you.
