Maxime Lizotte
After completing his studies and specializations at the École hôtelière de la Capitale, while working in various gastronomic and bistronomic establishments, Quebec-Indigenous chef Maxime Lizotte pursued his career in some of Quebec City's finest kitchens: the Hôtel Le Bonne Entente, the Saint-Amour, the Légende, in Wendake. In the summer of 2019, he launched his home-based chef service showcasing his local and eco-responsible cooking style. His Indigenous roots (from the Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation) are not only a source of inspiration, but have shaped his culinary signature since the start of his career. In August 2022, he left his first restaurant, L'introuvable, to work on new large-scale projects in the land of his ancestors.
